After a tumultuous 12 months at Fox News—during which the network’s own “Brain Room” warned hosts and anchors never to trust their “disinformation”—pro-Trump columnist John Solomon is no longer a paid contributor to the network.
A Fox News representative confirmed to The Beast that Solomon is no longer affiliated with the conservative cable network.
While Solomon’s appearances on Fox News have dried up in recent months—he hasn’t appeared since July—he has remained a regular presence on the Fox Business Network’s stridently pro-Trump programs hosted by Lou Dobbs and Maria Bartiromo. In his recent appearances, he has been identified solely as the editor-in-chief of the right-wing digital outlet *The Information* or as the author of *Fallout*, his latest book, which has been wholeheartedly endorsed by President Donald Trump.
